We ordered this second controller because our console only came with one, of course. The only difference between this one and the one that comes in the box is the color.
That being said, after a day or two of normal play, you could already feel the plastic parts inside starting to wear. You would think they would make these controllers a little more robust for extended game play but then we wouldn't have to buy another so soon. Can't say I recommend it but it is the standard controller. We've also had Nintendo consoles (64 and Game Cube) and their controllers seemed to be better quality.
Also, the rechargeable battery accessory is a must - this thing ate the first set of batteries in one day. For all the wireless hype, we ended up plugging the controllers in anyway.
Always a good idea to have an extra controller for when friends come over to play or when you get mad and throw your other controller at the wall.

The X-box 360 wireless controller is the best controller you could buy for the X-box system. You can even get rechargeable batteries for it. The batteries that it comes with are very good and last long depending on the brand or the store. The controller is made well so it doesn't break easily. It also uses a very low amount of power. The wireless controller is a very tough and a very useful remote to have. You can play from a distance without hassle of messing with the long or short wire. It is also good to be able to sit on a couch or chair and have fun playing. This is why the X-box 360 wireless controller is the best controller for the X-box 360.

Not sure what to say about a controller, assuming shoppers already have one. My only issue is that I tend to depress the right stick when moving quickly, which is a killer when it unintentionally zooms while playing Halo ...but that's probably my issue more than the controller's. I like the feel of the MS controller better than some 3rd party ones, and black was the cheapest (and since the Elite is black, I perceive it as being better).
Controller was in stated condition. Down direction on D-pad has lost some sensitivity. Otherwise, the product works.
Bought this for my son...he liked the Halo 3 effect to it. Works just like any other, but it's "really cool looking."
The shelf life of Halo 3 is considerably better compared to other video games, especially when used on xBox Live. My kids love the Covenant controller. It's a good match to the Halo controller.
I purchased this controller for my 8-year old grandson and he is absolutely thrilled with it. It personalizes his controller and adds an extra touch to the overall XBox 360 experience.
Whenever anyone comes over to play, give him the pink controller, and don't let him forget who's in charge.
